Skip Sped II is a 4 colour, including one metallic silver or gold layer, silkscreen print that was commissioned as part of a large series of prints for the ocean liner Spirit of Discovery.
The series theme was folklore and tales of the sea. Skip Sped (meaning go well or good travels) Three ships figureheads in choppy waves but going well!

Frame size: 120 x 58 cm in a pale wood frame.
Edition of 20, numberd, titled and signed.

Sarah Young is a painter, printmaker, illustrator and maker working with narrative themes often inspired by myth, folk tales, circus and burlesque imagery. As a printmaker she is known for her lino and wood cuts but also works in screen printing, mono print and collograph.
