The Story

This print is a relief print, made from two blocks that have been cut, inked and then printed using a F.A.G. letterpress proofing press onto Zerkall cotton rag printmaking paper.

Mousehole is a village in Cornwall, England. It has a wonderful harbour that is renowned for it's Christmas lights. This view is from a street high above the harbour with their gardens overlooking the sea!

Paper size: 21 x 21 cm approx.
Edition of 100, numbered, titled and signed.

Sarah Young is a painter, printmaker, illustrator and maker working with narrative themes often inspired by myth, folk tales, circus and burlesque imagery. As a printmaker she is known for her lino and wood cuts but she also works in screen printing, mono print and collagraph.
